The Belgian forward, who has already scored ten goals this season, reiterated last month that it has been his dream since he was a child to play for Real.
The La Liga giants have been linked with a move for Hazard for the best part of two years and he does not appear willing to turn them down.
But former Liverpool and England midfielder Danny Murphy has warned Hazard about joining Real and says he can become Chelsea’s best-ever player if he stays.
‘Eden Hazard is the best player in the Premier League and I can see him staying at Chelsea for the long term, if he is offered the right contract,’ he told bwin.
‘I think his family are happy in London and there’s no guarantee he would get that freedom and happiness at Real Madrid.
‘He has conducted himself so well throughout the speculation and the fans love him even more for it.’
Last month, new Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri told Hazard he can win trophies and the Ballon d’Or if he stays at Stamford Bridge.
‘Of course Eden for us he is a fantastic player,’ Sarri said. ‘It will be very important for us if he will remain with us, it will be very important.
‘I think also he can win everything, also the Ballon D’Or, here without playing in Spain.
‘Chelsea will be able to win the Champions League, Belgium will be able to win the European Cup.’
